Biographical Sketch:
Since 1991 Mr. Williams has been working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in a variety of data collection and surveillance efforts involving maternal and child health programs, cancer registries, and immunization information systems. Recent focus of Mr. Williams professional interests includes HL7-based data exchanges and development of operational best practices for immunization information systems in the areas of reminder/recall notifications, data quality assurance, vaccination level deduplication, and management of the active/inactive status for patients.
