Biographical Sketch:
Michele has worked for 5.5 years in the Immunization Program CHILD Profile at the Washington State Department of Health as the manager for the Health Promotion and Communication Team. Michele works on media relations activities, health education materials, immunization promotion campaigns, and managing the state's Immunization Registry health promotion system that sends 1.3 million immunization reminders to 440,000 families with young children. Before coming to Washington, Michele completed a two year fellowship at the CDC in program evaluation in the National Center for HIV, STD and TB Prevention. Michele has expertise in program evaluation, health promotion and communication best practice and theory, risk communication, program management and media relations activities.
