Biographical Sketch:
1996 - Present: Assistant/Associate Professor in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics, UMDNJ-NJMS
2001 - Present: Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health, UMDNJ-NJMS (Joint appointment with Pediatrics) and in the Quanitative Methods Division of the UMDNJ School of Public Health
2002 - Present: Medical Director of Project Vaccinate, a case-management/public education program managed through the Newark Department of Child and Family-Well-Being (formerly the Newark Department of Health and Human Services)
2005 - Present: PI on CDC-funded project, Reducing Health Disparities in Childhood Immunization Rates, Essex County, NJ.
1998 - Present: Participant and Executive Committee member of several local community and state-wide initiatives facilitating timely, age-appropriate immunizations in urban communities in NJ
2001 - Present: Numerous presentations on immunization issues (e.g., vaccine-preventable diseases, immunization delivery, etc.) at local, state-wide, and regional public and professional meetings.
