Biographical Sketch:
07/08-Present – Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer, CDC: Assigned to the Influenza Division 1600 Clifton Rd, Atlanta, GA, 30333 12/02-06/08 – Epidemiologist, Immunization and Communicable Disease Program, Chicago Department of Public Health, Chicago, IL: Direct and guide policy making for vaccine preventable disease (VPD) surveillance. Manage the hepatitis registry and assist with outbreak investigations. Design surveys and studies, and interpret VPD and hepatitis data. Present data through journal publications, newsletters and presentations. 01/99-04/01 – Research Analyst, American Academy of Pediatrics, Elk Grove Village, IL: Analyze state-level Medicaid and SCHIP data using survey data and national health care databases. Assist with all phases of the development and execution of research projects including survey design, sampling methodology, completion of statistical analyses, as well as prepare papers, reports, and presentations.
