Biographical Sketch:
Janelle Commins, M.S.P.H., has over nine years of work experience and education in Public Health including four years in population-based research and evaluation. Her content expertise covers application of digital media for health promotion and disparities in health among communities of color. As a senior staff member at E.M.T. Associates, Ms. Commins is a Senior Analyst on the national CDC-INFO evaluation where she conducts data analysis and authors briefs on issues of special interest to CDC-INFO stakeholders. Ms. Commins is also Project Manager for a recently concluded countywide survey involving health insurance enrollment practices. More than 150 public and non-profit agencies participated in this electronic survey that will help policymakers create a narrowcast marketing campaign for health information warm lines. Ms. Commins received a Masters of Science in Public Health from the UCLA School of Public Health in 2008.
