Biographical Sketch:
Jessica Tung began her career in research in 2008 while working with Dr. Amy Middleman on a cohort study entitled, "Vaccinating Adolescents: Taking It To The Schools." The project sought to determine the effect of a school-based immunization program on the attitudes and behaviors of parents regarding the use of medical homes as evaluated by a pre- and post-intervention survey. As a result of this project, Ms. Tung was third author on an abstract entitled, "Immunization Site Preferences Among Primarily Hispanic Middle School Parents" presented at the 43rd National Immunization Conference in Dallas, Texas. In addition, she is second author on a poster presentation entitled, "Parent's Willingness to get Vaccines in Schools" presented at the 2010 Society for Adolescent Medicine Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada. She is co-author on two recently submitted manuscripts.
