Responsible for coordinating follow-up investigations of serious vaccine adverse events reported to the national Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Conducts research and epidemiological analysis related to vaccine adverse events. Provides consultation, guidance, and technical assistance to health care professional organizations; public health officials; educational institutions. Designs and develops materials relating to vaccine safety. Author or coauthor of 8 publications relating to Vaccine safety issues and multiple presentations. Previously worked as a registered nurse in hospitals and public health settings.
