Biographical Sketch:
Margaret (Maggie) Coleman is a health economist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She was previously with the NCIRD and is now with the National Center for Preparedness, Detection, and Control of Infectious Diseases (NCPDCID). Dr. Coleman is a widely published expert regarding the financing of vaccine purchase in the United States. In particular, she has conducted in-depth qualitative work regarding the incentives and approaches of US-licensed vaccine manufacturers, published in a special issue of Health Affairs in 2005.
