Biographical Sketch:
2004 to March 2009-Manager of Health Services Education and Compliance Officer for the Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences, School of Osteopathic Medicine, Physicians' Clinic system. Responsible for the administration of seven Vaccine For Children (VFC) Immunization sites, including two Free Childhood Immunization Clinics. March 2009 to Present-Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Oklahoma State University- Center for Health Sciences, School of Osteopathic Medicine, Physicians' Clinic System. Responsible for the coordination of Quality Improvement Programs for all OSU Physicians' Clinics. 2007 to Present- Board President-Tulsa Area Immunization Coalition. Responsible for development and implementation of immunization education and training materials for vaccine providers in the Tulsa County (Oklahoma) area. Awarded the Merck Vaccination Service Award in August 2009 in recognition of committment to improving public health through vaccination during National Immunization Awareness Month. Principal writer and presenter at the National Immunization Conference in 2007-"Tulsa Area Immunization Coalition Health Care Workers Influenza Vaccination Program." Accepted to present Poster Presentation at the 2008 National Immunization Conference for the Tulsa Area Immunization Coalition-"How Immunization Coalitions Can Assist in Developing and Implementing Adolescent and Adult Vaccination Programs and Educational Opportunities."
