2006-present Director, Division of Viral Diseases (DVD), National Center for Present Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, CDC
Major Duties: I supervise and manage DVD and conduct original research. DVD has a staff of ~180 people and is responsible for laboratory and epidemiologic studies and prevention programs for the enteroviruses, herpes viruses, measles, mumps, non-influenza respiratory viruses, rubella, parvoviruses, and viral agents of gastroenteritis (e.g. norovirus and rotavirus).
