Biographical Sketch:
Executive Director
Five years experience managing a nonprofit association which represents the 64 state, territorial and large city immunization programs that receive direct federal funding through the National Immunization Program. Association members are the 64 immunization program managers.
Seven years experience directing the Immunization Project at the Association of the State and Territorial Health Officials. The goal of the project was to engage health officials and state health departments in the development of sound national immunization policy.
Two years experience consulting and lobbying for a Washington, D.C. firm, Capitol Associates, Inc. Lobbied for medicare reimbursement for pediatric nurse practitioners and covered numerous children’s health issues for related clients.
Five years experience on Capitol Hill for Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD). As a legislative assistant, I worked mainly on appropriations issues.
