Biographical Sketch:
Amy Groom is a CDC Public Health Advisor, assigned to the Indian Health Service where she has served as the IHS Immunization Program Manger since 2001. In this capacity, she works with CDC, IHS, state and tribal immunizaion programs across the country to develop immunization policy and implement immunization programs. She coordinates the development of the IHS Immunziation software in RPMS and the IHS Immunzation Data Exchange software. She also serves as the IHS agency lead on influenza vaccination activities with the IHS Division of Epidemiology and Disease Prevention.
