2001-present- Staff Nurse, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Kennett, Kennett Square, Pa.
Administer vaccines to children of all ages and provide education for parents regarding vaccines.
Assist in development of policy for immunization administration competency for RN's, LPN,s and Medical Assistants utilizing CDC recommendations.
2002-present- Practice Manager Consultant, Immunization Education Program, Pennsylvania Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics, Media, Pa.
Provide follow up for all practice based Immunization Education Programs in order to evaluate and assess need for further help. During these interviews was able to ascertain the need for further training for medical assistants in immunization administration.
Develop curriculum and obtain materials for an office based medical assistants skills training in vaccine administration. This was done in coordination with auther Amy Wishner.
