Biographical Sketch:
Josh Durfee has worked in the Health Services Research Department at Denver Health since 2005 as a Statistical Research Specialist and Research Project Coordinator. As a member of the health services research team, Mr. Durfee has managed Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) funded projects related to HIT and the development and use of chronic disease registries to improve patient quality of care. Mr. Durfee has performed extensive quantitative analyses for these project and others in the health services research department using Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and is one of fewer than twenty-five certified SAS programmers in the state of Colorado. His research interests include topics related to health policy, such as vulnerable populations, Medicaid, the uninsured, and health information technology.
