Biographical Sketch:
2009-2010. Volunteer Professor. University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Taught graduate level education, health promotion and community health courses for the first masters in nursing program in Vietnam.
2007 to present. Faculty consultant. Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, MIND Institute University of California, Davis.
2006 to Present. California State University, Sacramento. Division of Nursing.
Associate Professor and Coordinator School Nurse Program. Teach public health nursing.
2003- 2006. Sacramento City Unified School District. Manager and grant writer for a nine million dollar Safe School/ Healthy Students Initiative.Oversaw health assessment and immunization programs.
1998-2003. Elk Grove Unified School District. Healthy Start Coordinator. Program manager in a school-based Healthy Start Family Resource Center.
1995-98. SRI, International. Health and community research and policy analyst.
2006 to present. Conducted 3 community-based research projects on immunization.
