Biographical Sketch:
More than 10 years experience in marketing and promotion of community health issues, conference management, and client services. Specialized experience in developing and implementing work and marketing plans for health promotional campaigns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive collaborations with federal and private partners at the local, national, and international levels. Assisted with the directing of the Preparedness Clearinghouse for the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, which distributed more than 270,000 educational resources to public health, healthcare, and emergency services personnel. Knowledgeable in health policies and programs that are shaping the public health workforce. Knowledge of health issues as they are related to children, families, and communities, including: health disparities, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, eating disorders, mental health and substance abuse issues, and infectious diseases.
