Biographical Sketch:
Public health director, grantwriter and health instructor, with 10 years of diverse public health experience in non-profit, government, medical and university settings. Spearheaded successful funding for multi-million dollar grant proposals, including 3-5 year programs, from private foundations, state and federal agencies. Experience and expertise in developing and conducting health-related and capacity building trainings for health professionals, health advocates and the multi-cultural community. Adjunct professor at Las Positas College and teaching assistant at the University of San Francisco -- Dedicated to instruction and support that are excellent, consistent and improved continually. Currently managing statewide health education programs for the California Department of Public Health, Immunization Branch. Co-produced the award-winning documentary, “Brochure 2 Blog: Public Health Communication for a New Age,” and the vaccine safety webcast, “Vaccines: Wading through the Confusion.”
