Biographical Sketch:
31 years experience as a registered nurse working in medical surgical, intensive care, and emergency departments. Five years experience as a volunteer family nurse practitioner in a primary care clinic.
Seventeen years experience in academia teaching undergraduate, master and doctoral level nursing courses.
Five years in academia as department chair; three years as lead level instructor.
Sixteen peer-reviewed publications
PI for 710,000 funded HRSA; CO-PI on three internal grants funded for 2,000-30,000.
Presenter at 43 national nursing and health care conferences.
