Biographical Sketch:
2005 - present, US CDC, Global Immunization Division, Atlanta, GA Work with World Health Organization and Ministries of Health to assist countries in implementing polio eradication activities, and also in conducting new vaccine surveillance and assessment activities. Lectures on global immunizations and vaccine preventable disease surveillance at Morehouse School of Medicine and at international meetings, and coordinator for polio related MMWRs from 2002 to 2003. 1997 - 2000, California Department of Health Services, Immunization Branch, Berkeley, California Responsible for vaccine preventable disease surveillance for State. Provided technical support to local health departments for outbreak investigations. 1996-97, Los Angeles County Health Department, Immunization Program, Los Angeles, California Participation in immunization coverage survey and lead for rubella outbreak investigation and analysis of retrospective data from the 1989-1991 measles outbreak in Los Angeles County.
