A recent graduate of University of California Los Angeles, Ms. Sovero was awarded a 2 year epidemiology fellowship focusing on infectious disease and binational health through the CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Program and is currently working as a fellow at the CDC Division of Global Migration and Quarantine, United States-Mexico Unit and the County of San Diego, Epidemiology and Immunization Services Branch, San Diego, CA.
