Biographical Sketch:
1989 - present; Nurse Manager Infection Prevention and Employee Health. Ms. Farrell has been practicing on the Navajo Reservation since 1989. She first came to Tuba City as an operating room nurse and subsequently took on the role of the infection control nurse.

Ms. Farrell has extensive experience in the operating room, sterile processing and infection prevention. After implementing standardized procedures that significantly reduced central line associated blood stream infections and ventilator associated pneumonia she was chosen to be one of the 2006 APIC Heros of Infection Prevention.
