Presenters in this workshop will discuss different surveillance systems used to monitor pneumococcal disease. The use of surveillance data to evaluate the impact of vaccine introduction on the epidemiology of pneumococcal disease and to inform pneumococcal vaccination policy decisions will be discussed.
