Biographical Sketch:
Michal Chojnacky has performed calibrations in the Platinum Resistance Thermometer Laboratory since 2009. She has a bachelor's degree in physics from George Washington University, where she also worked for one year as an undergraduate fellow designing and building optical-tweezers apparatus. In addition to her calibration work on International Temperature Scale of 1990 artifacts, she conducts research on the properties of Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers and on methods for proper cold-storage of vaccines. Her focus on proper storage of vaccines covers both storage systems and electronic temperature monitoring.
