2008-present: Director of Communications, Center for Injury Research and Policy, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, MD. 2007-2008: Senior Communications Specialist, Institute for Health Policy, University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston, TX. 2006-2007: Account Supervisor, Healthcare Practice, GCI Group, New York, NY. 2005-2006: Manager of Medical and Scientific Communication, American Cancer Society National Home Office, Atlanta, GA. Responsible for development and implementation of all communications materials and efforts, including media relations, advertising, media advocacy, social media, core communication materials, and research promotion. Lead all policy communication projects. Position Injury Center as a leading resource for information on injuries and increase awareness of the burden of injuries among key audiences. Author on numerous scientific and lay consumer publications and professional presentations. Chosen as the 2006 Health and Society commencement speaker at University of Rochester graduation in Rochester, NY.
