Senior Communication Advisor, Office of the Associate Director for Communication, Office of the Director Oct 2010-present. Responsible for high level strategic and issues communication projects working at agency-level and across centers. Directs CDC Vital Signs communication program across the agency.
Chief, Marketing and Communication Strategy Branch, Acting Chief of Strategic and Proactive Communication Branch, Division of Communication Services, Atlanta, GA, 2008-Oct 2010. Responsible for leadership of staff on a variety of health communication projects, including audience segmentation, communication strategy and program planning, risk communication, translation of health communication messages and materials, health literacy improvement, and evaluation of effective public health communication interventions. The branch has also been highly involved in the coordination and development of pandemic and H1N1 preparedness communication message development and materials.
