B4: B-4 Advancing Preconception Health: lessons learned from the Federal Healthy Start Program

This session will expand on information shared in session A-4 A Healthy Start to Interconception Health and present new findings from an extensive review of the health services needed by high-risk preconceptional and interconceptional women served within the national Healthy Start (HS) program. In addition, HS grantees will review successful strategies to promote interconception care through case management and provider training on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to reduce maternal stress and depression.
