Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Purcell currently work jointly with the Office of Communications and Education in Partnerships and Dissemination Initiatives and the Implementation Science Team in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences at the National Cancer Institute. I have worked in the areas of cancer control and prevention and dissemination and implementation science for over five years. More recently she has started to work in the area of using social media and e-learning strategies for training and education of health professionals.
Previously, Ms Purcell has worked with the UNC Office of Global Health coordinating the global health certificate program and in providing technical assistance to American Indian and Alaskan Native populations in the implementation and evaluation of IHS and CDC-funded Injury Prevention grants.
