Biographical Sketch:
Since 2005, I have been Chief of the Assessment Branch, Immunization Services Division, NCIRD, CDC, directing the National Immunization Survey and other immunization-related surveys in all age groups. For the prior 7 years, I was involved in scientific and programmatic efforts to improve delivery of adult vaccines and influenza immunization with the National Immunization Program, with emphasis on assessment of adult vaccination coverage, analysis of factors associated with coverage using national and state surveys, and health services research. I am working on a dissertation for a PhD in epidemiology at Emory University, focusing on evaluation of biases in influenza vaccination surveys. During 2009-2010, I led the H1N1 Vaccine Coverage Monitoring Team at CDC to provide estimates of H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccination uptake at national and state levels.
