Biographical Sketch:
Nidish has over 17+ years of experience in technology and management consulting, with 12+ years working for Deloitte. Nidish specializes in assisting major federal and state agencies to successfully accomplish technology based transformation focused in the public sector healthcare space. Nidish is currently managing Deloitte Consulting’s team that supports ONC-HHS’s HIE, REC, and other ARRA HITECH grants programs by delivering strategic, operational, HIE / HIT subject matter expertise, technical assistance, and technology consulting services to ONC in a variety of areas. Prior to ONC, Nidish served various other federal, state, local, and commercial clients. Some of his relevant projects include developing and deploying a nationwide HIV/AIDS prevention health technology system along with toolkits, training, and other forms of onsite and remote technical assistance consultation for the CDC, managing the statewide PA-NEDSS disease surveillance and electronic lab reporting HIT system for the PA Dept of Health with associated technical assistance to users, researching and developing HIE thought leadership at Deloitte’s Center for Health Solutions while serving as a Chief of Staff/Advisor for a former HHS Secretary, building a SOA based system for a state public health department, managing statewide Medicaid waiver program technology systems, system design and support for a healthcare provider, setting up and running a large city-wide Program Management Office, as well as assisting various states’ health departments with HIE/HIT planning, convening, and assessment consulting services.
