Biographical Sketch:
2002 - present: HAN Coorindator for Chicago Department of Public Health, Chicago, IL 2010 - Present: Chief Programmer Analyst, Office of Health Information Technology, Division of Health and Human Services, Department of Innovation and Technology, Chicago, IL 2002-2010: Chief Progammer Analyst/Public Health Informatics Officer, Chicago Department of Pulic Health; Divisions of Emergency Preparedness and Response, Communiable and Infectious Diseases and Policy and Planning, Chicago, IL Manage complex mission critical projects including the Chicago Health Alert Network application and HAN program Managed Clinical and Business Process Review and Improvement Project. Lead implementation of electronic medical records application for community /ambulatory health, mental health, and Department specialty clinics (STI/HIV, TB, Immunizations and Dental). Directed collection and analysis of public health information and provide expert assistance in the implementation of large-scale projects including the Chicago Health Systems Tracking and Capacity Enhancement Study. Serve as consultant to other City Departments, public or private agencies and/or community organizations for the purposes of providing expert technical assistance.
