Biographical Sketch:
Indiana State Department of Health - 6 years Preparedness IT and Communications Manager Co-chariperson for the Communications and Alerting Community of Practice. Responsible for managing the development of key preparedness systems including the Indiana Health Alert Network, surveillance systems, Preparedness Portal, After Action Reports. Managed PHIN certification compliance. Participated directly in developing the Indiana SNS Plan. Responsible for Preparedness communications including the 800 MHz radio network and High Frequency radio. Implemented Cisco IPICS to bridge radio and traditional telephony communications. Responsible for the Department of Health’s Emergency Operations Center. Responsible for Preparedness COOP (Continuity of Operations) and Diasaster Recovery site planning. Made presentations at both PHIN and Summit conferences. Work History: Management Information Disciplines – 5 Years Delivered consulting services in public and private sectors.
