Biographical Sketch:
Sally Klein is a Cognosante/Fox Business Process Analyst specializing in analysis of business practices to ensure improvements in care management and continuity of business operations. She has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry in Nursing and Healthcare Administration, with an MBA in Health Services Management in 1987 From Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California. Additionally, she served three years as manager of the Montana State STD/HIV Public Health Section, as well as serving on the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) Board of Directors. She is a nationally recognized HIPAA, MITA and ICD-10 expert, having conducted MITA State Self Assessments in five states and other Medicaid related projects in ten states. Recent projects have also included HIE and ICD-10 assessments and planning for both public and private health plans and providers. She is a proponent of improved care management through medical homes and primary care initiatives. Prior to joining Fox, she served as a HIPAA Project Manager and Privacy Official for Montana.
