2009-present – EARS Program Manager, CDC, Office of Infectious Disease (OID), Atlanta, GA 2005-09 – Epidemiologist, BioSense Program, CDC, Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (OSELS), Atlanta, GA 2004-05 – Epidemiology Fellow, Environmental Public Health Tracking Program, CDC, Office of Noncommunicable Diseases, Injury and Environmental Health (ONDIEH), Atlanta, GA Responsible for evaluating and developing informatics and surveillance methods for monitoring pre-diagnostic and other non-traditional surveillance systems intended to provide earlier warning for, and better tracking during, public health emergencies and disease outbreaks (2004-present) Responsible for technical and strategic development of the EARS surveillance tool, and its deployment among US health departments and in Ministries of Health across the globe.
