Biographical Sketch:
2006-present – Health Scientist, CDC Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program, Atlanta, GA 2000-06 – Fellow, Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program, Atlanta, GA Responsible for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from across the United States (2001-present). Co-develop performance measures and report progress towards national goals (2002–present). Responsible for providing technical assistance to CDC grantees and partners related to the development of tracking and surveillance systems, data quality, and program evaluation (2002–present). Responsible for the co-development and management of informatics initiatives and projects to improve the collection and quality of state and national data. Author or coauthor of 13 publications primarily relating to the status of efforts to identify infants with hearing loss, provide recommended services, and the importance of accurate and complete data reporting. Completed training related to data analysis and project management. Numerous presentations at scientific meetings and conferences.
