9/05 - present - Surveillance Systems Administrator-- Florida Department of Health
Direct report to Florida's State Epidemiologist.
Supervision, work assignment, and personnel management of 3 full-time employees and 12 vendor contractors in the Acute Section- including developers, system testers, trainers, and business analysts.
Job Duties: Responsible for 5 surveillance projects, including application development, deployment, monitoring and security. Performing regular Project Mgmt duties; leading JAD sessions to develop business requirements; write (and manage) funding grants for surveillance systems; develop long and short term application goals in association with each grant; develop and assess measurements of success; forecast resource needs
