Spent a decade as a full-time practicing small and mixed animal veterinarian.
2005 to 2006 - Public Health Information Specialist - University of California Davis Health System, Sacramento, CA
2010-Present Terminology consultant for the St John's Group and APHL participating in the CDC-APHL cosponsored Public Health Laboratory Interoperability Project (PHLIP) and Laboratory Technical Interoperability Assistance for Public Health LTIAPH project.
Participant in the Lab Community of Practice and the ELR taskforce Standards Working group sponsored by CDC and CSTE.
Continue to practice small animal veterinarian locum tenens throughout northern California
