Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Jason Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Molecular Genetics. He has several years of laboratory experience performing biological and chemical analytics for the Department of Defense, Emory University, Department of Homeland Security, and the CDC LRN before shifting to work with laboratory information systems. His current role supports the Public Health Informatics and Technology Program Office (PHITPO) in their efforts to integrate Public Health information systems with CDC to support the rapid exchange of laboratory data during emergent public health threats.
