Biographical Sketch:
Centers for Disease Control – 11/2006 - Present Atlanta, GA Ms Watkins serves as an IT Project Manager for the Public Health Information Network (PHIN) support team. She is charged with providing overall planning, coordination, and direction in the establishment and accomplishment of project goals that support the development of PHIN standards, PHIN evaluation criteria, and PHIN compliance measures through establishing relationships with state and local public health agencies as well as CDC functional area owners. Department of the NAVY, Space and Naval Warfare Command New Orleans 11/2004 – 11/2006 Mrs. Watkins worked on projects focused on the development of web platforms for business use. Mrs. Watkins used traditional system development methods and alternative methods such as object-oriented, rapid application development and joint applications development. Mrs. Watkins developed a variety of models including data process, network, and object models. Science and Engineering Associates, 11/2002 - 11/2004, New Orleans, LA As a member of the Department of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) support team. My duties included travel to twelve resource centers for network, desktop, and customer support.
