Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Jason Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Molecular Genetics. He spent several years in the laboratory performing biological and chemical analytics for various groups including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and the CDC LRN before "joining the dark side" to work with laboratory information systems. His current role supports the Public Health Informatics and Technology Program Office (PHITPO) in their efforts to integrate Public Health information systems with CDC to support the rapid exchange of laboratory data during emergent public health threats.
