Biographical Sketch:
2010-present -- Senior Manager of Global Information Technology, Regenstrief Institute, Global Information Health, Indianapolis, IN and Eldoret, Kenya Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at the location. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. 2003-2010 -- Information Technology Manager, Columbia University, Department of Biomedical Informatics Responsible for managing a department-wide systems infrastructure support group. Managed a small team that supported the department’s desktop computers, servers, storage, backup, and server room infrastructure. Provide technical consulting to faculty to provide IT solutions in support of research efforts. Manage projects through all stages from conception through implementation and completion. Responsible for forecasting and managing the IT support budget.
