Biographical Sketch:

1996-2006: Senior Laboratory Manager, MA Dept. of Public Health. Boston, MA
Academic and professional training is in the domain of public health laboratory science, with a dual focus on bacteriology and information systems.
At APHL, responsible for large scale domestic and international laboratory informatics projects. Internationally, she collaborates with in-country partners to implement sustainable LIMS with the goal of improving the availability and quality of laboratory data to enhance patient care and treatment.
Domestically, focuses on promoting interoperability and data exchange methodologies, open source strategies and keeping public health laboratories relevant in the National Health IT landscape.
