Biographical Sketch:
Arun Srinivasan is a Computer Scientist with the Division of Notifiable Diseases and Healthcare Information in the Public Health Surveillance Program Office. Mr. Srinivasan is a graduate of the CDC Public Health informatics Program; he has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Florida Atlantic University and Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from India. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Texas, Houston majoring in Health Informatics. His primary focus at CDC is the application of informatics science to the practice of public health surveillance at local, state and federal levels. He currently serves as the technical steward for the NEDSS Base System (NBS) and Message Subscription Service (MSS) project and also oversees the daily operations of the project.
