Biographical Sketch:
Sheri H. Lewis is a member of the Senior Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory. She received her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Asian Studies from Loyola College in Maryland and her M.P.H. in International Public Health Programs from the George Washington University School of Public Health and
Health Services. She is a Program Manager within the disease surveillance program and works closely with the public health community on the development and implementation of electronic disease surveillance systems. Her current work focuses on the implementation of such systems in resource-poor settings and the development of
advanced analytics for the prediction and modeling of emerging infectious diseases.
