Biographical Sketch:
Ms. Reese came to CDC 5 years ago as a Sr. Consultant with Deloitte. She currently serves as a Public Health Educator and CDC full time employee in the Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP). Prior to PHIFP, she served as a Public Health Educator in CDC’s National Center for Public Health Informatics (NCPHI). From 2007-2009, Ms. Reese supported the NCPHI/ Division of Alliance Management and Consultation (DAMC) in a strategic planning initiative, COTPER, GAP, and OWCD in various education and performance improvement projects. In 2009 she was hired as a full time CDC employee to support the NCPHI/DAMC as a Public Health Educator on the Informatics Workforce Development team. Ms. Reese’s professional background spans several disciplines, such as Instructional Systems Design, Change Management, Organizational Development, Competency Modeling, and Measurement and Evaluation. She has 15 years experience managing and developing performance improvement programs. She managed Instructional Design teams, high profile and large scale needs assessments, job task analysis, and corresponding curriculum design, training development and evaluation, as well as strategic planning, change management, and process improvement initiatives. Ms. Reese completed her Masters Degree in Instructional Systems Design at Florida State University and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management at the University of Florida. She holds certifications in “Competency-Based Human Resource Systems” (competency development), and “Measurement and Evaluation Return-On-Investment" from The Jack Phillips Center for Research.
