Biographical Sketch:
Vipat Kuruchittham, PhD, is a Health Scientist at Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program. His background is in computer engineering, engineering management, decision science and operations research, and health systems engineering. His past projects prior to rejoining CDC covered areas of quality of life, patient safety, liver transplant information system, breast cancer and HIV vaccine simulations, monitoring and evaluation of information systems, and malaria control and elimination program activities. His informatics-related interests include monitoring and evaluation, information visualization, public health surveillance systems, and interoperability of public health information systems.
