These presentations will showcase collaborative work of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) Technical Committee (TC 215) on Health Informatics to manage summary measure definitions, which supports an ISO-standard data exchange format, Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange - Health Domain (SDMX-HD). The standards developing organizations (SDO) provide a mature process for aligning and harmonizing standards which will facilitate the development of global monitoring and surveillance systems across all nations, including Low Resource Settings.
