This session will highlight the involvement of and the need for involvement of public health in the HIE planning, implementation, and integration processes. Presenters will discuss working with Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) partners, state strategic and operational plans, and national standards providing insight to informatics practitioners to ensure the inclusion of public health in HIE.
