PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS MEDICAL CENTER Center for healthcare informatics; Kansas City, KS; August 2005-Present. Coordinator of Public Health Informatics/ Research Assistant Professor: Provide health informatics technical assistance to the health departments, the Kansa Health Institute, the Public Health Informatics Stakeholders Team, Blue Cross BlueShield of Kansas and others. Involved in health information technology (HIT) projects, namely, the Office of the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology (ONC) HIT definitions project and the ONC-funded health information security and privacy collaboration (HISPC) project. Kansas project director for the HISPC – Phase III, consumer education and engagement collaborative workgroup. Serve on informatics-related advisory committees.
