Biographical Sketch:
Served in various technical, engineering, operations, product management and consulting positions at BearingPoint, KPMG, Evolving Systems Inc., Time Warner Communications, U S West Advanced Technologies, Bellcore and Southwestern Bell Corporation.
Currently serving as an Enterprise Architect (EA) for National Center for Public Health Informatics and the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (NEPHTN).
Worked with the CDC’s Enterprise Infrastructure Architect in the Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) to accomplish the following tasks: (1) Developed the CDC’s baseline infrastructure architecture, (2) Developed a transition strategy and plan for moving to the target infrastructure architecture, (3) Finalized the Infrastructure Architecture templates and procedures and (4)) Aligned CDC Infrastructure Architecture work with CDC EA, HHS EA and the Federal Enterprise Architecture.
Served as the Program Manager that created a program management office for the National Center for Public Health Informatics (NCPHI) at the CDC. This initiative provided coordination, high level project management and accountability that improved the quality, outcomes and cost effectiveness of critical, agency-wide CDC informatics and information technology initiatives and investments.
