June 1996 to September 1998, Research Associate II - The University of Michigan School of Public Health September 1998 to January 2000, HIV EPIDEMIOLOGIST - Michigan Department of Community Health January 2000 to June 2002, Bioterrorism Epidemiologist - Michigan Department of Community Health June 2002 to March 2006, Senior Bioterrorism epidemiologist - Michigan Department of Community Health March 2006 to Present, Surveillance Systems Coordinator - Michigan Department of Community Health · Serve as the Surveillance Systems Coordinator and overall project manager for the Michigan Disease Surveillance System (MDSS). Maintain day to day operations of the system MDSS and syndromic surveillance system and coordinating the overall development plan by prioritizing projects and funding for the project. · Coordinate and develop MDSS trainings and outreach. · Coordinate MDCH Regional Epidemiologist support for the users on the MDSS. · Represent the MDSS on internal MDCH workgroups. Serve as primary contact for MDCH with MDIT program staff and outside vendor for the MDSS. · Conduct reviews and analysis of data from the MDSS, the Michigan Syndromic Surveillance System, federal surveillance data and ad hoc data sets on a statewide level.
